In UTIMESA we are specialized in wire cutting / EDM. We currently have state-of-the-art machinery that allows us to offer innovative solutions to our customers.

Wire EDM replaces the technologies used to date (broaching) for the manufacture of special machining (example: Fir Tree Slots) necessary for high pressure compressors and turbine discs, due to their zero tool wear, and the exhaustive control that allows throughout the process.

We have the biggest Wire EDM machine currently being marketed in the world that allows us to work with large pieces, inside climate-controlled facilities to guarantee extreme precision and quality of the parts being fabricated.

In addition of this, We mechanize metals of any hardness (Titanium, Steel, Inconel, Superalloys) with an accuracy of up to one thousandth of a millimeter. We also perform cuts and extractions of test specimens and engine sectioning.

This entire process is carried out within completely air-conditioned facilities to ensure the extreme precision and quality of the components made.

At UTIMESA we have state-of-the-art machinery that allows us to carry out large-scale wire cutting projects up to dimensions of 2000 x 1300 x 700 (XYZ).

We have the ability to carry out projects in parallel and at the same time due to the existence of different machines that can carry out said EDM work.
